Is Station a model?+
No. Station is a workspace for agents and models. Use Station agents with your chosen model, or connect an external agent such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, or Kiro.
Where does Station keep my data?+
Station runtime data lives on the machine running your Station. Data can leave when you configure and use a hosted provider or an export endpoint. You choose those connections.
What’s the difference between a Task and a Session?+
A Project supplies the work context and available agents. A Task keeps that context, its files, and its results together. A Session is one attempt at the work, and a Task can span several.
What is a receipt?+
A receipt records what ran, what passed or failed, and what remains unverified. It stays beside the work it describes. Receipts record observations, not a guarantee of correctness or a complete record of every action.
How do I get started?+
Station is in active development in a private repository. The setup guide covers macOS and Linux installation, prerequisites, and first launch. You’ll need repository access to read it.
